Get in touch

Tell us about the awkward part

Most people ring about the bit that does not fit in a form — a date that might move, a street a lorry cannot get down, a house that has to be empty before the next one is ready. That is the conversation worth having.

Email

Best for anything with detail — dates, a list of the big pieces, photographs of a difficult approach. Replies come back within a working day or two.

Quote form

Send us the details

Seven fields, most of them obvious. It reaches the same people as the email address and is the quickest way to start a survey.

When

Weekdays & Saturday mornings

Through the working day Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings. Moves themselves run outside those hours where a building or a job requires it.

What to tell us first

You do not need everything worked out. But these five turn a vague reply into a useful one, and they take about a minute to write down.

Where you are moving from
The street, the floor, and whether a vehicle can stand outside. In the town centre that last one shapes everything.
Where you are going
Another WD address, somewhere else in Hertfordshire, across the country, or abroad. "We do not know yet" is a perfectly good answer.
Roughly how much there is
Rooms will do — a two-bed flat, a four-bed semi plus a loft, one bedroom of furniture. We do not need an inventory to start.
Your dates, including the shaky ones
A completion that might move is the most useful thing you can tell us early, because it changes the plan rather than the price.
Anything awkward
A piano, a marble table, a lane too narrow for a full-size vehicle, a third-floor flat with no lift. Surprises cost more than warnings.

Where we go

Watford and the belt around it — Watford town centre, Cassiobury, Nascot Wood, Oxhey & South Oxhey, North Watford & Garston, Leavesden & Abbots Langley, Croxley Green & Rickmansworth, Bushey & Kings Langley. The coverage page says what each of them is actually like to load in, which is more useful than a list of names.

Beyond that: deliveries anywhere in the UK from a Watford collection, and moves into Europe. What we do not do is claim Harrow or central London — those have their own firms and we will happily point you at one.

If you are comparing quotes

Please do. Ask each firm the same three questions: where will the vehicle stand, who is doing the wrapping, and what happens if my dates move. A written quote that answers those is worth more than a cheaper one that does not.

When you are ready, the quote form starts a survey. If you would rather just ask something first, email or ring — nobody will chase you afterwards.
